Dam Rong 1 Commune was formed on the basis of merging Phi Lieng Commune and Da K'Nang Commune, with a population of over 17,000 people. The whole commune has 18 ethnic groups living together, of which ethnic minorities account for 53%; there are 4 main religions operating: Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism and Seventh-day Adventism with 10,131 followers, accounting for 58.7%.

In the past time, the Commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations have done a good job of propaganda and mobilization with diverse, rich, focused and key contents and forms. The work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building has achieved many positive results. The Commune Fatherland Front has organized 12 meetings with voters with 840 participants, and coordinated the organization of 7 supervision sessions.

Movements and campaigns were widely deployed, typically the Movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", mobilizing 4.7 billion in contributions to build new rural areas; the whole commune has 18/18 "Typical residential areas", including 7 "Model residential areas"; building and maintaining self-management models such as: "Self-management group for security and order", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful roads"... Mobilizing the "For the poor" Fund received more than 219 million VND; building 102 new solidarity houses, supporting 06 livelihood models for the poor.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Consensus - Innovation - Development" and the theme "Enhancing the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc", the Congress agreed on the Action Program for the 2025 - 2030 term with 6 key contents and 11 specific targets.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Van Duc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, highly appreciated the work of mobilizing and uniting all classes of people, ethnic groups and religions in Dam Rong 1 commune in recent times.
He affirmed that the Commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations have actively encouraged union members, association members and people of all walks of life to actively and effectively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, participate in socio -economic development, maintain national defense and security, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

The Congress consulted and elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dam Rong 1 commune, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 51 members; consulted and elected 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030.

At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, term I, 2025 - 2030, consulted and elected 5 members to the Standing Committee. Comrade Nguyen Thi Nhung holds the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dam Rong 1 commune, term I, 2025 - 2030.
