Honoring Quang Nam's startup talents in 2025

(QNO) - On the afternoon of June 26, at Quang Nam College, the Provincial Innovation and Startup Support Board held an event to announce and honor Quang Nam's startup talents in 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, along with representatives of departments, branches and startup project owners in the province.

After the final round of the "Quang Nam Startup Talent 2025" competition held in early June, the organizing committee selected and awarded 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 5 third prizes, 20 consolation prizes and 5 recognized projects.

The honored ideas and projects not only demonstrate creativity but also closely connect with local resources, have high commercialization potential, and contribute to promoting the province's startup ecosystem.

Two First Prizes were awarded to the project “Automobile garage model specializing in electrical parts and car refurbishment” by a group of students from Quang Nam College and the project “Rim chili sauce and products from Vo Thi Le chili” by Dien Phong Agricultural Cooperative (Dien Ban).

These are highly regarded projects that combine technical expertise with the ability to develop markets from local products.

The five Second Prizes include the projects “Senda - Teaching confidence from inner strength”, “ Travel experience with Go Noi Xanh”, “Mosquito repellent herbal buds”, “UPAY cooling tea” and “Red apple with cashew nut”.

These ideas span many fields from tourism, organic agriculture toeducational technology, demonstrating the diversity in entrepreneurial thinking of young people in Quang Nam.

In the Third Prize group, the models "Anh Sinh Zien Snack Tea Shop", "Circle-bit Robot Programming Kit", "Raising H'Mong Chickens and Making Spring Rolls", "Pigweed Essential Oil", "Herbal Bath Bag for Preventing Chicken Pox" show the desire to transform creativity into specific products to serve the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee assessed that in recent years, although the local startup community is still in its early stages, it has soon revealed a strong spirit of dedication and a clear desire to rise.

Many projects do not stop at ideas but have gradually affirmed their ability to execute, expand production scale, position their brands and reach markets beyond their locality.

“Now, when Quang Nam is under the same roof with Da Nang - a major center of finance, technology, and market in the region, what the Quang Nam startup community has worked hard to cultivate in the past will become a valuable foundation to enter a new phase.

We have reason to believe more in the adaptability, creativity and innovation of young people in Quang Nam in the new era," Mr. Thanh emphasized.

On this occasion, the National Startup Association awarded certificates of merit to 10 individuals and 8 typical startup associations/clubs for their outstanding contributions to building the local startup ecosystem.

Among them, Nui Thanh Startup Club, Que Son Startup Association, Hiep Duc, Dien Ban... are units with many typical support, incubation and connection activities in recent times.
