This is the comment of Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director of MISA Joint Stock Company within the framework of the working session with the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD) taking place on April 23, 2025 at the company's headquarters.
The meeting opened up a valuable opportunity for MISA to share practical experiences in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and smart data in management and operations for VACD member businesses.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of MISA, were Mr. Le Hong Quang – General Director and the company’s leaders and managers. On behalf of VACD, there were Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan – Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong – Permanent Vice Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Cong Cuong – Vice Chairman, and nearly 30 members.
At the meeting, General Director Le Hong Quang expressed his honor to welcome VACD to visit and work at MISA. He shared: “If in the past, the production model of enterprises mainly relied on electricity and resources, today, digital production methods are the decisive factor in the competitive advantage of enterprises. This is the fundamental change in thinking and action. At the same time, AI application should not be spontaneous, but create resonance to bring great value”.
With over 30 years of experience in the technology field and always pioneering in applying the latest technologies in the world such as AI, MISA representatives hope to bring practical values and valuable experience in applying AI and data in management and operation, contributing to supporting VACD member businesses to develop sustainably.
From the Association, Chairman Nguyen Duc Thuan highly appreciated the brilliant achievements that MISA has achieved, especially the strong application of AI, keeping up with the technology trends of the times. Mr. Thuan expressed his hope to listen to MISA share about ways to apply AI and smart data in management to support businesses to improve productivity and competitiveness, thereby contributing to the development of the country's management.
With that expectation, within the framework of the working session, Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director of MISA shared experiences in applying AI and smart data in MISA's internal operations and in product development for customers.
According to Mr. Quang, the rate of businesses applying AI to management has increased from 33% in 2022 to 72% in 2024 (according to IBM, Forbes, McKinsey). This technology is strongly supporting customer service (56%), cybersecurity (51%), customer relationship management (42%) and content production (40%). Businesses that apply data to make decisions can increase customer attraction 23 times higher than traditional businesses.
Keeping up with the trend of applying AI in management, MISA developed the MISA AVA AI Assistant, integrated into the MISA AMIS Unified Enterprise Management Platform. MISA AVA helps businesses quickly query data, provide visual reports and in-depth analysis, creating a solid foundation for strategic decisions. At the same time, with AI technology and data analysis, MISA AVA also forecasts important indicators, supports flexible management, and optimizes operational efficiency.
The application of AI helps increase customer care productivity by 1.71 times, thanks to using 350 people instead of 600 people, while optimizing financial processes, automating accounting and supporting businesses to access capital faster. Currently, 5,000 businesses have been granted a loan limit of VND 20,000 billion through MISA's AI platform, with a disbursement success rate 4 times higher than the conventional method. In 2025, MISA plans to deploy AI Agent - an automatic business support tool to increase productivity and significantly reduce operating costs.
In conclusion, Mr. Quang emphasized that, firstly, AI is an inevitable trend, requiring businesses to quickly adapt to maintain competitive advantage. Second, businesses need to popularize AI in management to improve performance, build a culture of data-based decision-making and promote digital transformation with cloud computing platforms integrated with AI. Third, businesses need to continuously review and plan to apply AI to each process to help optimize operational and management efficiency.
At the same time, Mr. Le Hong Quang proposed to cooperate with VACD in organizing seminars to raise awareness and develop skills in applying AI in business management. MISA is also willing to participate as a speaker/consultant at VACD events to share experiences in applying AI in business management and commits to providing AI-integrated digital solutions, suitable for the needs of member businesses of all sizes, industries, fields and in each stage of development.
Listening to the sharing of MISA representative, VACD members had a lively discussion to clarify issues surrounding the application of AI and the creation of smart data for management. At the same time, MISA's AI integrated solutions also received expectations from members, with the belief that they will help effectively solve the management problem in each specific enterprise.
