On the evening of August 10, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team faced Thailand in a decisive match for the championship of the second stage of SEA V.League 2025.
In the first set, Thanh Thuy and her teammates did not have a smooth start as they continuously lost points due to poor first steps and were defeated 17-25 by Thailand.
In the second set, the home team played with more enthusiasm, continuously leading for most of the time. However, Nguyen Uyen's failed serve at the decisive moment caused Vietnam to lose by a narrow margin of 24-26.

The climax was pushed up in set 3 and set 4 when coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students showed their bravery and strong mentality to defeat Thailand with scores of 25-17 and 25-22, thereby dragging their opponents into the 5th set.
In this important set, Bich Tuyen played impressively, helping the Vietnamese women's volleyball team beat Thailand with a score of 15-13 to win the second round of SEA V.League 2025.

This is also the first time that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has surpassed the team from the Land of the Golden Temple to become the new champion in the Southeast Asian tournament.
