On the evening of August 10, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team faced Thailand in a decisive match for the championship of the second stage of SEA V.League 2025.

In the first set, Thanh Thuy and her teammates did not have a smooth start as they continuously lost points due to poor first steps and were defeated 17-25 by Thailand.

In the second set, the home team played with more enthusiasm, continuously leading for most of the time. However, Nguyen Uyen's failed serve at the decisive moment caused Vietnam to lose by a narrow margin of 24-26.
