After the success of the MV Vietnam - Proud to Continue Stepping to the Future, Tung Duong continued to collaborate with musician Nguyen Van Chung in the second music project: MV Continuing the Story of Peace .

Tung Duong released the MV "Continuing the story of peace" - a billion-view hit by musician Nguyen Van Chung.

Continuing the story of peace is the title track of the album of the same name, first introduced by Nguyen Van Chung in 2023 through the voice of Nguyen Duyen Quynh. The song has a heroic melody, epic lyrics, recalling the history of building and defending the country, paying tribute to the generations of ancestors who sacrificed for peace, and at the same time arousing national pride in each listener.

Composed two years ago, Nguyen Van Chung said the song was initially not widely known because it was quite new to the public. It was not until 2024 that a spontaneous remix on social media on the occasion of major holidays made "Writing the Story of Peace" a phenomenon, reaching billions of views and being selected for many key programs. In particular, the performance by Dong Hung - Vo Ha Tram on April 30 left a deep impression.

The big turning point for the song came when Tung Duong performed the song for the first time in the national concert "Fatherland in the Heart" at My Dinh Stadium. In front of 50,000 spectators, the Epic Rock arrangement combined with his epic, heroic voice created an "earthquake", making tens of thousands of people burst into emotion.

Facing versions performed by many singers, Nguyen Van Chung shared at the launch of Tung Duong's MV on August 25: "Each stage, the song has a accompanying singer. At the present time, for me, Tung Duong is the one who fully expresses the spirit of the song and what I most desire."

The male musician was even more touched and appreciative when Tung Duong proactively asked to make a MV for the song.

"Duyen Quynh loves this song so much that she doesn't hesitate to sing it anywhere. And now Tung Duong is the same, he is even willing to spend effort, time, and money to film a well-prepared MV for the song" - the "father" of Continuing the story of peace confided.

Sharing about the decision to make the MV, Tung Duong said: “I made this MV out of my passionate love for my homeland. A special song like Continue the story of peace needs a well-prepared MV to connect the images and stories from war to peace, moving and reaching young people.”

In the MV, Tung Duong transforms into a revolutionary soldier, directly feeling the fierceness of war and the sacredness of the moment of peace returning. He affirmed that if he had been born during the war, he would certainly have the spirit of "determination to die for the Fatherland" like many Vietnamese people.

The MV was directed by young director Nguyen Viet Dung in a cinematic style, recreating the war with grand scenes of fire and smoke but still maintaining simplicity and humanity. Opening with the familiar theme song “This is the Voice of Vietnam…”, the work interweaves cinematic images with war documents, depicting the story of a veteran who does not forget the memories of loss but always passes on to the next generation the aspiration to build the country.
