(NLDO) - Quang Loc Commune Police ( Quang Binh Province) promptly discovered and saved a man from Binh Dinh who intended to commit suicide by jumping off Quang Hai 2 Bridge.
Authorities approached the scene under Quang Hai bridge to rescue a man in Binh Dinh who intended to jump into Gianh river.
On February 15, Quang Loc Commune Police, Ba Don Town, Quang Binh Province said that according to initial information, at 4:48 p.m. the same day, people discovered a man standing on Quang Hai 2 Bridge with unusual behavior, suspected of intending to commit suicide, so they quickly reported it to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, Quang Loc Commune Police deployed a rescue plan with two working groups. One group quickly arrived at the scene to persuade the victim to give up his foolish intention. The other group coordinated with the security force of Con Se village, mobilized a motorboat to approach the area under the bridge, ready to rescue if a bad situation occurred.
Police persuaded a man who intended to commit suicide
The task force approached, restrained and brought the man to a safe position. He was then taken to the police station to be calmed before being handed over to his family for care.
The man's identity was identified as Mr. H.D.D. (born in 1986, from Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province).
Mr. D. got married in Ba Don town. On the morning of February 15, he came from his hometown to visit his wife and children. However, during the day, a conflict arose between the couple, leading to psychological stress. By the afternoon of the same day, Mr. D. had a negative intention and went to Quang Hai 2 bridge to commit suicide.
Currently, the family continues to encourage and take care of Mr. D.
