In 2025, the People's Public Security Academy will recruit 100 students, but nearly 8,000 candidates registered for the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam to enroll in the academy.

On August 23, the People's Public Security Academy announced the admission standards for the method of combining international language certificates with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test (method 2), and the admission method of combining the results of the high school graduation exam with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test (method 3).

The benchmark score for male candidates in the North is 22.51 and for female candidates in the South is 21.74; for female candidates in the North is 25.21 and for female candidates in the South is 23.51.

The specific benchmarks are as follows:

In 2025, the People's Public Security Academy was assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to enroll 100 students, including 50 students from the North and 50 students from the South.

In selection methods 2 and 3, each region only recruits 4 female candidates.

Previously, in the 2025 assessment exam of the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Public Security Political Academy became "hotter" when the school recruited 100 students in the field of Party building and state administration, but there were nearly 8,000 candidates registered to take the assessment exam of the Ministry of Public Security to be admitted to the academy. The average competition ratio was 1/80.

After deducting 10 direct admission quotas, the quota for the remaining two methods (considering international language certificates combined with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test and considering high school graduation exam scores combined with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test) is about 90 quotas. Thus, the average competition ratio is up to 1 'competing' nearly 89.

Major Trieu Thanh Dat, chief specialist of the Training Department, Ministry of Public Security, confirmed that this year the People's Public Security Political Academy continues to be the training facility in the People's Public Security with the largest number of candidates taking the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam.
