Submit to the National Assembly the amendment of the Law on Personal Income Tax at the 10th Session

9th Session, 15th National Assembly

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued a Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on adjusting the 2025 Legislative Program.

According to the Resolution, the following projects will be added to the 2025 Legislative Program to be submitted to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025): Law on Tax Administration (amended); Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); Law on Protection of State Secrets (amended), implemented according to simplified procedures; Law on Public Employees (amended), implemented according to simplified procedures.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly assigns the submitting agency, the agency in charge of reviewing, participating in reviewing, and the progress of submitting to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for comments on draft laws adjusted in the 2025 Legislative Program.

Specifically, the Economic and Financial Committee will preside over the review of the draft Law on Tax Administration (amended) and the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee will preside over the review of the Law on Protection of State Secrets (amended); and the Law and Justice Committee will preside over the review of the Law on Civil Servants (amended).

The Nationalities Council and other Committees of the National Assembly were assigned to participate in examining these four draft laws.

The above draft laws were all submitted by the Government to the National Assembly Standing Committee at the September session./.
