Viet Hung Ward launches the campaign "45 days and nights of support for digital transformation activities"

HNP - On August 7, the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward (Hanoi City) held a conference to launch the Campaign "45 days and nights of supporting digital transformation activities in communes and wards in the initial phase of operating the two-level local government model".

This is a specific activity to respond to Directive No. 11/CT-UBND dated July 24, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Committee, and at the same time effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Attending the Conference were comrade Vu Xuan Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; together with comrades in the Steering Committee, the Working Group, representatives of residential groups, schools, telecommunications enterprises and a large number of cadres, party members, and socio-political organizations in the area.

At the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward presented the content of the Campaign Implementation Plan in the locality. According to Comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy, with the determination to build a modern, effective and people-friendly government, the ward has issued Plan No. 38/KH-UBND focusing on the following goals: strengthening the organizational apparatus and digital transformation personnel; promoting the role of the Community Digital Transformation Team; supporting vulnerable groups to access public services; universalizing digital skills; deploying a synchronous digital platform.

"In order for digital transformation to truly enter life, especially for the elderly and disadvantaged, it is extremely important to disseminate, guide, and support people to access and proficiently use digital platforms. Viet Hung Ward will organize 'digital literacy' classes and arrange mobile support points to each residential group to ensure that no one is left behind in the digitalization journey...", emphasized comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy.

Representing the grassroots forces, comrade Nguyen Huu Tri - Party Cell Secretary, Head of Residential Group No. 11, also Head of the Community Digital Transformation Group of Viet Hung cluster gave a passionate speech in response to the campaign. According to him, the dissemination of digital knowledge must start from Party members and spread to each household through the models of "Digital Transformation Family" and "Digital Transformation Residential Group".

"The residential group will maintain Zalo groups, free Wifi at the cultural house, show propaganda content in group meetings, install security cameras. At the same time, strive for 70% of households to have smartphones, VNeID accounts, e-wallets and know how to use online public services," emphasized comrade Nguyen Huu Tri.

He also suggested that the ward should regularly reward and commend individuals and groups that have done well in digital transformation, thereby creating motivation and spreading the movement widely to each residential area.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Vu Xuan Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward affirmed that the Campaign "45 days and nights of launching to support digital transformation activities" is a peak period, but also a solid foundation for the long-term digitalization journey of the locality.

Comrade Vu Xuan Truong stated clearly, "Digital transformation is not only the task of administrative agencies, but must be a social movement, a comprehensive transformation of the community. Each cadre, teacher, and union member must be a digital propagandist; each residential group is a pioneer; each family is a 'digital highlight'. The ward will resolutely act and resolutely implement to make Viet Hung a typical unit of the City in digital transformation".

Comrade Vu Xuan Truong also requested departments, offices, and residential groups to proactively develop detailed action plans, "clear people - clear work - clear responsibilities"; strengthen "hand-holding and guiding" for people; establish public administrative service points to become places for effective digitalization practice. At the same time, assign the Department of Culture - Society and the Ward People's Committee Office to monitor progress, summarize, synthesize and promptly advise the People's Committee to commend and replicate good models and creative ways of doing things.

Also at the Conference, the People's Committee of Viet Hung Ward announced and awarded the Decision to establish a Community Digital Transformation Team; at the same time, organized instructions on the use of digital applications such as online public services, digital signatures, iHanoi, VNeID... by representatives of Viettel Long Bien branch and staff of the Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center.

The conference ended in an atmosphere of high unity and strong determination from the government, residential groups and social forces.
