Hair Painting Exhibition "Hair - Artistic Fiber"

With 35 unique hair paintings, the exhibition "Hair - Artistic Fibers" by artist My Tuyen brings the public a new perspective on fine art from hair.

On the morning of September 16, the Hai Phong City Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition held the opening ceremony of the fine art exhibition "Hair - Artistic Fibers" by artist and hair stylist My Tuyen.

The exhibition displays 35 unique works created from hair - a seemingly ordinary material but through the creative hands of the author has become art. This is the result of more than 10 years of hard work by artist My Tuyen, who once set a Guinness World Record for the art form of hair painting.

The works recreate many typical images: portraits of President Ho Chi Minh , General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the author's relatives, along with many architectural works, street corners, and roads associated with the memories and development of Hai Phong city.
