Photo Exhibition of World Heritages of Vietnam and Laos

According to VNA correspondent in Laos, on June 23, the photo exhibition " World Heritages of Vietnam and Laos" took place in the capital Vientiane.

This is the first time a photo exhibition fully introducing Vietnam's world cultural and natural heritages and Laos' world cultural heritages has been held in Laos.

The photo exhibition, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions in collaboration with the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos, is a very meaningful activity, enriching cultural and artistic exchange and cooperation activities between Vietnam and Laos.

The exhibition introduces 180 photos, including 160 photos of 26 Vietnamese heritages such as Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ha Long Bay, Hue Royal Court Music... and 4 Lao heritages including Luang Prabang Ancient Capital, Wat Phou Heritage Area, Xiengkhouang Plain of Jars and Khen Lao.

The photos at the exhibition were taken by many Vietnamese and Lao photographers, authentically capturing the beauty, value and vitality of heritage at the present time, giving the public the opportunity to admire vivid and attractive images of majestic and poetic natural landscapes, masterpieces of nature or ancient architectural works, documents containing stories about history, culture, ideology, knowledge, customs, beliefs, aesthetics... of the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos.

The exhibition is open to the public from now until the end of July 2023. After that, the photos in the exhibition will be displayed in some localities in Laos.
