According to the announcement from the organizers of the match between Korea and the Vietnamese team on October 17, more than 40,000 tickets to watch this match have been sold out.

The friendly match between the Vietnamese team and the Korean team will take place at 6:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) at Suwon World Cup Stadium, in Suwon City (Korea).
This stadium was built for the 2002 World Cup, held in Korea and Japan (this was also the first World Cup to take place in Asia). That is why this stadium is called Suwon World Cup.
Construction of this stadium began on November 15, 1996 and was completed on May 13, 2001, about a year before the 2002 World Cup.
The first international tournament on this field was the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup (a pre-World Cup).
At the 2002 World Cup, Suwon Stadium hosted four matches, including three group stage matches between the US and Portugal (Group D), Senegal and Uruguay (Group A), Costa Rica and Brazil (Group C), and a round of 16 match between Spain and the Republic of Ireland.
Currently, Suwon World Cup Stadium is the home ground of the famous Korean club Suwon Samsung Bluewings. This team has won the K-League four times (1998, 1999, 2004 and 2008), and the AFC Champions League twice (2001 and 2002).
Suwon World Cup Stadium currently has a capacity of over 44,000 seats. Currently, the Organizing Committee of the friendly match between the Korean team and the Vietnamese team announced that all tickets issued for this match have been sold out.
The reason why the match between Vietnam and South Korea is so attractive is because right before that, South Korea had just won 4-0 against Tunisia in another friendly match, which took place on October 13.
The match against Vietnam is also the match where top Korean football star Son Heung Min can return to the squad. Previously, this player was absent from the match against Tunisia due to injury.
Under coach Klinsmann, Korean audiences have never seen Son Heung Min win at home. Before that, the Korean team went through 5 consecutive matches without a win in the first days of coach Klinsmann taking over the team (since February this year).
Before South Korea beat Tunisia 4-0, coach Klinsmann's team only had one win against Saudi Arabia, 1-0 in September. However, the match against Saudi Arabia took place at the neutral St James Park in Newcastle (England).
