On the afternoon of September 9, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thanh Nhan chaired the September 2025 meeting of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee to review and give opinions on a number of contents under its authority.

At the meeting, the Legal Committee reported to consult the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial People's Council on Document No. 134/TTr-UBND of An Giang Provincial People's Committee on regulations on the scope of tasks and powers authorized to civil servants of the People's Committee at the commune level in the field of certification in the province.

The Committee for Culture and Society reports the results of consulting the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for comments on Submission No. 149/TTr-UBND, dated August 27, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on the draft resolution promulgating a list of resolutions detailing Resolution No. 217/2025/QH15, dated June 26, 2025 of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and students of general education programs in educational institutions in the national education system; reports to request comments on organizing work with relevant departments and branches on preparation and consultation for the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The Economic - Budget Committee reported the results of examining 3 submissions of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, including: Submission No. 168/TTr-UBND, dated September 5, 2025, requesting registration for the development and application of simplified procedures in the development of the Provincial People's Council Resolution regulating the decentralization of environmental protection spending tasks in the province; Submission No. 170/TTr-UBND, dated September 5, 2025, registering the development of a Resolution regulating the level of expenses for reception, visits, and congratulations for a number of subjects implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province; Submission No. 171/TTr-UBND, dated September 5, 2025, registering the development of a Resolution regulating the level of expenses for business trips and conferences in the province.
