With the theme “Digital transformation in sustainable agricultural development”, this year’s competition focuses on technological solutions to improve productivity, quality, and traceability of agricultural products, thereby building a modern, smart, and sustainable agriculture.
Under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the contest is organized nationwide, targeting 6 socio -economic regions and is determined to be an annual program until 2030.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Le Van Cua, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Park, emphasized that in the context of the economy entering a period of strong digital transformation, the agricultural sector needs to innovate for sustainable development and increased value. Innovative startups in this field are a promising direction to create a new generation of agricultural entrepreneurs who are dynamic, creative and technology-savvy.
The competition is not only a startup playground but also part of the agricultural sector’s long-term strategy to promote the innovation ecosystem. Through this, individuals and startups have the opportunity to present ideas, connect resources, realize projects and bring technology into production practice.

According to the Organizing Committee, the ideas submitted to the contest should focus on digital transformation in sustainable agriculture such as: management, production, processing, and preservation of agricultural products using high technology; applying IT, IoT, Big Data, blockchain, AI, robots, drones, etc.

The competition consists of 3 rounds: preliminary, semi-final and final. Ideas that pass the preliminary round will participate in intensive training on startup skills, business planning, intellectual property, investment capital calling...
At the end of the competition, potential projects will be selected for the incubation and acceleration support program in 2026. Prizes include cash for the categories: first, second, third, encouragement and other secondary prizes.
