Candidates in the Mekong Delta are ready for the 2025 high school graduation exam

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of June 25, the provinces in the Mekong Delta region completed preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, which will take place from June 26-27 nationwide. Accordingly, candidates and examination councils in the provinces have carefully prepared and are ready for this important exam.

On the afternoon of June 25, at 26 high school graduation exam sites in 2025 in Can Tho City , candidates were present to complete exam procedures. The organization took place in accordance with regulations, safely, seriously, creating maximum conditions for candidates.

According to the Departmentof Education and Training of Can Tho City, the whole city has 13,776 candidates registered for the exam, of which 13,672 candidates came to complete the procedures, reaching a rate of 99.25%. This is a remarkable result, demonstrating the proactive coordination between schools, parents and related units in preparing for the exam.

Many candidates shared that they were nervous before the important exam in their student life, but with careful guidance, they felt more secure. The atmosphere in the school was serious but also friendly from the teachers.

The Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City said that, in addition to the initiative of the education sector, the exam support work continues to leave its mark. According to information from the Can Tho City Youth Union, more than 800 union members, students, and young people participated at 26/26 exam support posts. These forces are responsible for supporting traffic flow, guiding candidates, distributing free water, milk, rice, and many essential items.

In addition, study tools are provided free of charge, there is shuttle support for candidates and accommodation is arranged for candidates on exam days.

On the afternoon of June 25, more than 11,700 candidates in Vinh Long went to 30 examination sites to complete procedures for the 2025 high school graduation exam. This is an important step to help candidates check personal information, listen to the exam regulations, understand the exam schedule and prepare mentally to enter the official exam.

According to statistics, this year's exam has 214 candidates following the 2006 General Education Program and 11,517 candidates following the 2018 General Education Program. The organization is clearly divided into 521 exam rooms, including 9 rooms for the 2006 General Education Program and 512 rooms for the 2018 General Education Program.

During the procedure, candidates are also instructed to carefully check their personal information, receive their exam notice, and make corrections if there are any errors; at the same time, they are reminded to bring their personal documents, use one color of ink when doing the test, and check the exam paper immediately upon receiving it.

On the morning of June 26, candidates took the first exam subject, Literature, with a time limit of 120 minutes in essay format. In the afternoon, candidates took the Math exam with a time limit of 90 minutes. On the morning of June 27, candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program took the final exam session of 2 elective subjects with a time limit of 50 minutes for each subject.

Candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program will take the Natural Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Science (History, Geography, Civic Education) exam in the morning of June 27; in the afternoon of the same day, candidates will take the Foreign Language exam. The morning exam papers will be distributed at 7:30 a.m. and the afternoon exam papers will be distributed at 2:20 p.m. Five minutes after the exam papers are distributed, the exam time will begin. Candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late after the exam time signal is given will not be allowed to take part in that exam session.

On the afternoon of June 25, 17,653 candidates in Dong Thap went to the examination sites to complete procedures for the 2025 high school graduation exam, reaching 99.42%.

At the same time, 103 candidates who registered for the exam did not come to complete the procedures, mainly concentrated at 2 exam locations: the Provincial Continuing Education Center and Do Cong Tuong High School.

At the exam locations, candidates were fully informed about the exam regulations, given exam cards, and had their personal information (if any) corrected, creating a strong mentality to enter the official exams from tomorrow.

This year's high school graduation exam will take place over two days, June 26-27. Dong Thap has a total of 39 exam sites, with 759 exam rooms. Compared to last year's exam, the number of candidates registered for the exam increased by more than 1,200. Of which, the number of candidates registered for the exam under the 2018 General Education Program is 17,349, the number of candidates registered for the exam under the 2006 General Education Program is 407.

Meanwhile, Kien Giang province has more than 15,000 candidates taking the 2025 high school graduation exam coming to the exam sites to complete exam registration procedures, listen to the exam regulations, exam schedule, and correct incorrect information (if any).

According to the Department of Education and Training of Kien Giang, in the 2025 high school graduation exam, Kien Giang has a total of 15,667 candidates registered to take the exam; of which, 535 are independent candidates (135 candidates registered to take the exam under the 2018 General Education Program and 400 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program).

Kien Giang province has arranged 30 examination sites in 13 districts and cities with a total of 670 examination rooms; of which, 3 examination sites are in Phu Quoc city, 27 examination sites on the mainland. Kien Hai and Giang Thanh districts have a small number of candidates so no examination sites are arranged. Candidates from Kien Hai district will take the exam at Huynh Man Dat Specialized High School (Rach Gia city); candidates from Giang Thanh district will take the exam at Nguyen Than Hien High School (Ha Tien city).

Kien Giang mobilized a total of nearly 2,000 personnel to participate in the exam supervision work, including 293 people who were heads, deputy heads, secretaries of exam sites and over 1,700 exam invigilators; arranged 404 security and medical personnel at the exam sites.

This year, Ca Mau province has 17 examination sites, with 470 examination rooms. Of which, Ca Mau city has the largest number of examination sites, with 7 examination sites, the remaining districts have 10 examination sites (Ngoc Hien district alone does not arrange examination sites but organizes the examination together with Nam Can district).

According to quick statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, in the afternoon of June 25, nearly 11,100 candidates came to the examination sites to complete the examination procedures, 39 candidates were absent compared to the number of candidates registered to take the examination before, of which 23 candidates were absent from the examination according to the 2006 General Education Program, 2 candidates at Examination Site 03 - Ca Mau High School had a traffic accident before the examination day, the remaining candidates had no reason. Up to this point, candidates at 17 examination sites in Ca Mau province have mentally prepared for the high school graduation exam taking place from tomorrow, June 26.

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai directly inspected the number of examination rooms, security, safety and confidentiality of the exam.
