Removing obstacles in trade union activities of public service units

On the morning of September 9, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to remove difficulties and obstacles in trade union activities of public service units.

At the conference, representatives of trade unions of public service units raised difficulties, obstacles and recommendations such as: The Provincial Federation of Labor needs to provide guidance on the establishment of grassroots trade unions, methods of paying union funds and union dues; many grassroots trade unions have members who do not receive 100% of their salaries from the budget, but so far have not been instructed on how to dissolve, establish grassroots trade unions, collect and spend funds and union dues; in some medical units, there are people who receive salaries from the budget and people who receive salaries from revenue sources, causing difficulties in collecting union dues from union members who receive 100% of their salaries from the budget... From the difficulties and obstacles mentioned, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor answered, resolved difficulties and provided guidance on how to implement, helping trade union organizations of units to soon operate stably, in accordance with regulations.

In order to reorganize the trade union organization, the Provincial Federation of Labor has recently ended the activities of district-level trade unions, trade unions of the Party, government, industry-level trade unions, and units receiving 100% of their salaries from the budget. At the same time, the grassroots trade unions under the dissolved units were transferred to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management from July 1.
