Thanh Hoa received more than 21.1 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3

State Audit Union launched a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 3. More than 407 billion VND donated and registered to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, through the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of localities and units in Thanh Hoa province have supported people affected by storms and floods.

On the afternoon of September 17, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairwoman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Relief Committee, received support for people affected by storm No. 3 from localities, units and enterprises in the province with a total amount of more than 21.1 billion VND.

At the receptions, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy said: "The consequences of floods on people in the northern provinces are very severe, therefore, the hearts and noble gestures of localities, units and businesses will promptly share and encourage people in the northern provinces to overcome difficulties" .

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province sincerely thanked the precious sentiments of the cadres and people of the districts; cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers of units, enterprises and people in the province for timely support to localities affected by storms and floods; at the same time, he committed that the sources of support will be compiled and reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for timely allocation and support to the northern provinces.

According to the synthesis of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, by 5:00 p.m. on September 17, 715 groups and individuals had supported people affected by storm No. 3 with a total amount of more than 21.1 billion VND.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 13, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee agreed to allocate VND6 billion in the first phase to support 11 northern provinces affected by storm No. 3. "Localities in the province are continuing to call on people and donors to participate in supporting compatriots affected by storm No. 3. Based on the results, Thanh Hoa province will provide support in the next phases" - Mr. Vo Minh Khoa, Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said.
