The Chau - Ro ethnic minority people discussed a lot because before that, the 10th Party Congress of the village, term 2025 - 2027 also set the goal of strengthening the development of trade and services in the village. In fact, for many years now, some Chau - Ro households with economic conditions have invested in doing business in different areas, so the appearance of the village has changed in many positive directions.
Village Elder Chau - Ro Tho De - Head of the Front Committee of Village 4 said: In recent years, the Village has always focused on mobilizing people to respond to emulation movements, especially in building rural roads. The Village has mobilized people to donate land to clear the ground to build 3 km of roads with 100% funding from the State and to build concrete roads for intra-field traffic to serve agricultural production.
The village Youth Union coordinated with the village management board to build a security lighting route in Group 2 and Group 3, worth 40 million VND. Built a welcome gate, repaired and decorated a spacious village cultural community house with a state investment of 200 million VND. Coordinated to mobilize the construction and repair of 10 charity houses, worth 480 million VND... Chau - Ro village has an area of about 455 hectares, of which the agricultural land area is 428 hectares, including: 162 hectares of annual crops (72 hectares of rice, 90 hectares of colored crops) and 266 hectares of perennial crops (82.36 hectares of rubber trees, 120 hectares of pepper, 50 hectares of cashew, 13.63 hectares of coffee). The whole village currently has a herd of 670 cows, 95 pigs, 3,500 poultry, and 2.1 hectares of freshwater fish farming.
In addition to village elder Tho De, who is good at business and has been recognized by the province for many years as a good farmer and businessman, there are many households in the village with good economic conditions, earning an annual income of 200 - 300 million VND, such as Mr. Tho Minh Toc's household, which earns over 250 million VND each year from his plows, cajuput trees, banana plantations...; Mr. Tho Tan Thanh's household earns over 300 million VND from his combine harvester, rice fields, and banana plantations...
According to village elder Tho De, the villagers mainly live on agriculture, and the industrial and service sectors have not yet developed strongly. Currently, the village has 15 tractors and 2 rice harvesters owned by Mr. Tho Minh Tap's family, 1 agricultural product purchasing point, 5 small grocery stores, serving the shopping needs of the village. The majority of young workers work as workers at companies and factories in the clusters, so they create stable jobs, increase income and improve the lives of their families...
In the coming time, Chau - Ro village sets the target of implementing well the work of agriculture, forestry, and fishery, transferring science , technology and techniques to each household to achieve the highest economic efficiency on the same area of production land.
