Tay Ninh: Large fire at candle factory in Tan Hoi 1 Industrial Park

On the evening of August 2, a major fire broke out at a candle factory in Tan Hoi 1 Industrial Park, Tan Hoi Commune, Tay Ninh Province. As of 8 p.m. the same day, the fire was still raging.

The fire broke out fiercely.

According to initial information, around evening, the company's security force discovered a fire breaking out in the factory area, so they immediately shouted, evacuated people inside and organized on-site fire fighting.

However, because the inside contained many flammable materials such as wax and chemicals used to produce candles, the fire quickly spread, creating a large column of smoke.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force of Tay Ninh Province Police stationed in the nearest area mobilized many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to participate in extinguishing the fire.

However, firefighting efforts encountered many difficulties due to large flames, dense smoke and high temperatures.

Fire engulfed the factory

A representative of Tan Hoi Commune People's Committee said that by nearly 8:00 p.m., the fire had engulfed an entire warehouse.

Meanwhile, authorities are urgently preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring areas and continue to mobilize more vehicles and forces to put out the fire./.
