The sports festival took place to create a joyful, exciting atmosphere, competing to achieve achievements to welcome the 1st Congress of Hoa Hung Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030; at the same time, towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The sports festival also contributes to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", building and developing the grassroots sports movement, the movement of regular physical exercise among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to have good health to serve the work.
In particular, it is necessary to propagate, mobilize and guide cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to maintain the discipline and habit of regular and proper physical exercise and sports to prevent and fight diseases; gradually organize physical exercise and sports activities in line with current trends, meeting the training and entertainment needs of people in the 3 wards.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the teams competed enthusiastically in many sports: chess, soccer, pickleball, petanque and women's volleyball, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, exchange and physical training in the community.
The Hoa Hung Ward Cultural and Sports Service Center was established on July 1, 2025, on the basis of reorganizing the following units: Hoa Binh Cultural Center, Sports and Physical Training Center, Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park and District 10 Children's House.
