The Phu Tho Folk Song and Mass Arts Festival is an event in a series of cultural, sports and tourism activities to serve the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty - 2025. The festival will be held from April 2 - 6, 2025 (ie the 5th - 9th of the 3rd lunar month) at the central stage of the festival - Hung Temple historical relic site.
The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags and flowers to the participating delegations.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province Nguyen Dac Thuy said that the Festival has the participation of 13 mass art programs, bringing to the people and tourists special performances to honor the good traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese people - the descendants of Lac Hong, praising the merits of the Hung Kings, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the traditions of Phu Tho homeland, honoring the good people and good deeds in the cause of national renewal, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of the Ancestral Land.
The festival is held from April 2 to 6 (ie March 5 to 9 of the lunar calendar) at the festival's central stage - Hung Temple historical relic site.
“The Phu Tho Folk Song and Mass Arts Festival is an opportunity for actors and artists from various units to meet, exchange experiences, discover, explore and create new cultural and artistic activities to enhance and develop the local cultural and artistic movement,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy.
The festival has the participation of 13 mass art programs.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the mass art troupe from Viet Tri City, Lam Thao District, Yen Lap District and Phu Tho Town participated in the competition, receiving enthusiastic responses from the locals and tourists. The performances were elaborately staged, contributing to enhancing the experience of visitors when coming to the Ancestral Land on this occasion.
