- On the afternoon of August 7, the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) organized a program to review voluntary blood donation (VBD) activities in the first 6 months of the year and summarize the volunteer activities of the Red Journey in 2025.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Society actively promoted and mobilized cadres, members, volunteers and the masses to participate and register for voluntary blood donation. Accordingly, the whole province organized 7 voluntary blood donation campaigns with over 5,300 people registering, receiving 3,194 blood units, reaching over 29% of the 2025 target.

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded certificates of recognition from the Provincial Steering Committee for Mobilizing Volunteers as volunteers of the Lang Son Red Cross Program in 2025 to volunteers.

Since the beginning of May 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Association has organized and announced the receipt of volunteer registration dossiers to participate in the Red Journey 2025 and selected 100 qualified volunteers from more than 130 registration dossiers. Immediately after that, the Provincial Red Cross Association has trained volunteers on knowledge and skills in propaganda and mobilization and directly participated in Red Journey activities. Accordingly, volunteers have propagated and distributed leaflets in markets, densely populated areas, and parks in Luong Van Tri and Dong Kinh wards, with over 1,000 leaflets; marched to propagate and mobilize voluntary blood donation; supported blood collection and preservation; cared for blood donors, etc. As a result, the Lang Son Red Journey 2025 program has received 2,124/1,600 blood units, reaching 132.7% of the planned target.

On this occasion, 1 collective and 8 outstanding individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial Red Cross Association for their outstanding achievements in the 12th Lang Son Red Journey in 2025.
