- Recently, relevant levels and sectors in the province have coordinated to synchronously and effectively implement the peak period of cleaning up marriage data and reducing procedures for confirming marital status, thereby contributing to promoting digital transformation in the area.

Specifically, implementing Plan No. 329, dated May 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice , and the Supreme People's Court on launching a 90-day peak period to clean up marriage data and implement the reduction of procedures for confirming marital status (from May 31 to August 31, 2025), the Provincial Police have advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue an implementation plan. The peak period aims to digitize and clean up marriage information data at civil registration offices and divorce information according to court judgments to share with the National Database (CSDLQG) on population to ensure "correct, sufficient, clean, and alive". Thereby, contributing to reducing procedures for confirming marital status, ensuring that each citizen will be fully and accurately updated with marital status information in the database; People will no longer have to spend a lot of time traveling many times to apply for a marriage status certificate in administrative procedures, civil transactions...

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Provincial Police, said: The Provincial Police have issued plans and dispatches to the Department of Justice and the Provincial People's Court on coordination in digitizing marriage data. It sets out specific goals, requirements, assigns tasks, assigns targets, roadmaps and deadlines for completion of each work content. For example, the People's Court carries out the process of cleaning divorce judgment and decision data at all levels; the judiciary carries out the process of cleaning marital status data; the police force carries out the process of cleaning divorce judgment and decision data through the VNeID application...

With the synchronous and active participation of all levels and sectors, the peak period of cleaning up marriage data in the area has achieved positive results, ensuring the set progress. Specifically, the police force in the area has updated the civil status information with changes in the National Population Database for over 5,900 cases; updated and adjusted civil status data with discrepancies with the National Population Database for over 39,000 cases, reaching 100% as requested by the judicial agency.

With the synchronous and active participation of all levels and sectors, the peak period of cleaning up marriage data in the area has achieved positive results, ensuring the set progress. Specifically, the police force in the area has updated civil status information with changes in the National Population Database for over 5,900 cases; updated and adjusted civil status data with discrepancies with the National Population Database for over 39,000 cases, reaching 100% as requested by the judicial agency. At the same time, the court system in the province has completed the digitization of 14,838/14,838 marriage and family records and synchronized data to the Supreme People's Court's storage system, reaching 100%. For the judicial sector, by the end of the peak period, 186,300/186,300 data records had been digitized, reaching 100% of historical civil status data on marriage on the civil status software and updating new marriage registration information of citizens on the civil status software.

Among them, many units in the court system have completed ahead of schedule. Ms. Luong Thi My Hanh, Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 3, said: Determining the peak period of cleaning up marriage data as a major policy of the Party and State, aiming to further improve the quality of service to the People, the unit has carefully prepared the conditions of facilities, equipment and human resources to organize implementation; assigning specific tasks, clear people, clear work, clear progress. Following the instructed procedures and processes, the unit's officers, civil servants and employees have increased their work progress, worked overtime on holidays, outside of office hours, determined to complete the peak period ahead of schedule. Thanks to that, by July 30, 2025, the unit had digitized and stored 3,090/3,090 marriage records and data, reaching 100%.

The completion of the contents of the peak plan for cleaning up marriage data shows the determination and efforts to overcome difficulties of all levels and sectors in the area. The process of digitizing and authenticating data is strictly implemented, ensuring safety and confidentiality of information. This result will contribute to reforming administrative procedures, especially cutting down procedures for confirming marital status, serving the people more quickly and conveniently in the digital age.
