On the morning of July 26, at Nam Cuong Hotel (Hai Phong City), Sacombank Hai Duong branch held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (2005 - 2025).
Comrade Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee attended; also attended were more than 150 loyal customers of Sacombank.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Van Quan and Director of Sacombank Northern Region Tran Anh Viet congratulated and commended the results that Sacombank Hai Duong branch has achieved in 20 years of construction and growth.
From only 20 staff and tens of billions of VND at the beginning of its establishment, Sacombank Hai Duong branch now has 160 staff, total capital of over 12,000 billion VND, developed 6 transaction offices, serving more than 123,000 customers.
Sacombank Hai Duong branch has been at the top of the entire system for many years, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the former Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, and was recognized by the Chairman of Sacombank's Board of Directors as an Excellent Collective for 10 years.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, Sacombank Hai Duong branch continues to promote tradition, constantly innovate, create, improve the quality of operations, and specialize in digital transformation to help improve service efficiency for people and businesses.
Hai Phong City People's Committee will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Sacombank Hai Duong branch in particular and credit institutions in general to successfully complete all tasks, making worthy contributions to the city's socio-economic development in the new period.
On this occasion, comrade Tran Van Quan awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province (now Hai Phong city) to Sacombank Hai Duong branch for its outstanding achievements in business activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
On July 30, 2005, Sacombank Hai Duong branch was officially opened and put into operation. Up to now, the branch includes the head office and 6 regional transaction offices in the west of Hai Phong city, including: Phu Thai, Sao Do, Ke Sat, Gia Loc, Thanh Mien and Hoang Thach. The total scale of loan mobilization of Sacombank Hai Duong branch reached over 12,000 billion VND.
By the end of July 30, 2025, the total mobilization (converted to Vietnamese Dong) of the branch reached 7,698 billion VND, an increase of 1,098 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 119% of the yearly plan. Total outstanding loans reached 4,471 billion VND, an increase of 988 billion VND, reaching 115% of the yearly plan.
Since its establishment, Sacombank Hai Duong branch has served more than 123,000 individual and corporate customers, with a variety of modern, convenient and friendly financial products and services.
Sacombank Hai Duong branch has actively contributed to the local socio-economic development through credit activities, accompanying small and medium enterprises and social security programs for the community, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees and authorities at all levels.
