Rashford just scored his first goal for Barca in a 5-0 win over Daegu FC in South Korea on the evening of August 4. However, the English striker is not sure to play in the Spanish domestic arena, if Barca cannot complete the registration procedure before the opening day of La Liga, with the match against Real Mallorca on August 16.
Rashford is determined to move to Barca to start over. However, his dream of playing for the Spanish team could be crushed if La Liga does not give him the green light. In the worst case, the 27-year-old striker can only train with the first team and play friendly matches, while La Liga will be a no-go zone.
The problem is not new, but it is a persistent pain for Barca. For more than 3 years, the Camp Nou team has continuously encountered difficulties in registering players due to financial limitations.
