Que Tran, Tu Suong, Vo Minh Lam and many artists gathered to celebrate the success of "The Saddle Poem"

On the evening of June 23, many artists attended the meeting to celebrate the success of the traditional opera "The Poem of the Horse Saddle" organized by Dai Viet New Opera Theater. In addition, artists who had just achieved success with the play "The Carry of Grass on the Han River" by WE Entertainment Company also came to join in the fun.

People's Artist Que Tran expressed her joy: "In my heart, a special feeling wells up - both bustling with joy and warm with the belief that the Vietnamese historical reformed theater is still being preserved and spreading persistently in the affection of a large audience for the work "The poem on the saddle". This meeting atmosphere is like a small festival of hearts beating together in love for the profession, but also a place for artists to continue to promote creativity to work together on many new projects."

Producer Hoang Song Viet said that among the projects he has done, the work "The poem on the saddle" is the most successful and in the near future this play will be re-performed 2 more times at the request of the majority of the audience.

The artists – from veteran faces to the younger generation – were all radiant as they gathered together, congratulating the success of the play not only because of the enthusiastic response from the audience, but also because they had together spread their love for the stage, spreading the rich Vietnamese cultural and artistic values in a traditional opera that had been painstakingly produced.

Director Meritorious Artist Hoa Ha - who directed both "The Poetry of the Saddle" and "The Carrying of Grass on the Han River" - said: "The work "The Poetry of the Saddle" continues the spirit that the late People's Artist Thanh Tong wholeheartedly pursued: Vietnamizing ancient plays, gradually eliminating the influence of borrowed Ho Quang, incorporating Cai Luong melodies and Southern folk songs into the script to build a unique style - deeply Vietnamese, full of pride. I just hope I still have the health to continue accompanying the Dai Viet New Cai Luong stage".

Meritorious Artist Tu Suong, representing the artists of the Minh To family, expressed her gratitude to the public for loving many of the family's classic works over the past decades. She vowed that as long as she is healthy, she will continue to contribute her creativity to bring many good plays to serve the public. At the same time, the sixth generation of actors of the Bau Thang, Minh To, and Thanh Tong families will continue to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors.

The artists expressed their deep gratitude to the producer Hoang Song Viet - the one who keeps the operating criteria of Dai Viet New Cai Luong Stage burning: not chasing quantity but taking care of each work like a spiritual child. And with "The poem on the saddle", he and his crew created a play that when the curtain falls, no one will have any regrets.
