New iOS 26 Beta: Resolution has been increased to 1320×2868 pixels, corresponding to full screen.

It's worth noting that while image quality has improved significantly, file sizes haven't increased much. For example, a 12-second screen recording is 24.2MB in iOS 26 Beta 6, just 5.3MB more than the same content in Beta 1.
