According to the plan, the proportion of renewable energy sources accounts for 56.09% of the total energy sources in the province. The total capacity of power sources in the province that have been completed and supplied to the national power system is more than 1,777MW, of which the proportion of renewable energy sources accounts for 98.31%.

In the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years, Quang Nam strives to save at least 2% of total electricity consumption annually; by 2025, reduce electricity loss in the power system to below 6%, and strive for 100% of street lighting to use LED lights.

It is known that all 18 districts, towns, and cities; 241/241 communes, wards, and towns in Quang Nam have electricity, accounting for 100%. Currently, 1,229/1,241 villages in the whole province have electricity, accounting for 99.03%; 415,687/418,328 households have electricity, accounting for 99.36%.

Of which, the rate of urban households with electricity is 100%, and in mountainous areas 96.84%. It is expected that by the end of 2030, the number of households using electricity will reach 100%.
