Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025 is held for the first time in Lao Cai City Center, Lao Cai Province. This is an important tourism and cultural event for the province and the Northwest region, affirming the role and position of Lao Cai province - an economic connection point, cultural exchange, a center for trade cooperation, and promoting development in the East-West economic corridor and the Northeast belt of the country and the world.
Leaders of Yen Bai province attended the opening ceremony of Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025.
The International Tourism Fair was organized with a scale of 130 domestic and foreign booths. In particular, within the framework of the Fair, there was the participation of a survey delegation (Farmtrip) consisting of 120 large international travel agencies representing over 10 countries and territories, which are the largest international tourist markets to Lao Cai such as: China, Malaysia, India, Japan, Australia, Korea, France, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia along with more than 40 domestic and international promotion and communication agencies and organizations.
The fair promises to open up opportunities for investors, businesses in the tourism service sector, travel agencies, destinations, to find partners, sign contracts to promote the increase in the number of visitors to Lao Cai in the future. This is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the potential, strengths, beauty of the landscape, culture, country, and people of Lao Cai to the people and domestic and international tourists, contributing to promoting the smokeless industry of the province and Vietnam in the process of integration and sustainable development.

Through the organization of the Fair, the Organizing Committee hopes to help state tourism management agencies, local and international tourism promotion organizations have a deeper, more comprehensive and more substantial view of the development orientations of tourism products and services towards the goal of developing green and sustainable tourism.

Participating in the Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025, Yen Bai province has 8 booths displaying tourism products such as: introducing Suoi Giang Tea products; displaying gemstone products such as: feng shui stone bracelets, stone jewelry, gemstone peach trees...; displaying 3-star OCOP products of Dai Phu An. In addition, Yen Bai province also introduces to tourists many tours and tourist routes imbued with the identity of Yen Bai land and people.
The exhibition space is designed with the typical characteristics of Yen Bai highlands with dozens of typical tourism products such as: Ta Xua - Ta Chi Nhu adventure eco-tourism, community tourism in Mu Cang Chai, Tram Tau hot mineral spring and tours to experience the culture of Mong and Thai ethnic groups...
In addition to tours, Yen Bai province also brought to the Fair special products such as: Suoi Giang Shan Tuyet tea and handmade brocade; folk art performances and experiential activities. Thereby, it has left many impressions on domestic and international tourists.
With an impressive exhibition space bearing the typical features of the land that converges many cultural quintessence at this Fair, it shows the determination of Yen Bai province in promoting and advertising tourism, aiming at sustainable development and enhancing the local tourism brand in the coming time.
