PC Dak Nong contributes to building new countryside

Dak Nong Power Company (PC Dak Nong) has implemented many activities to contribute to the construction of new rural areas in the province.

PC Dak Nong renovates and upgrades rural power grid system

Through investment, renovation and upgrading of the rural power grid system, the quality of electricity supply is increasingly improved, contributing to changing the face of the countryside and significantly improving people's lives.

To ensure the progress and quality of electricity supply, every year PC Dak Nong proactively follows the assigned plan, conducts surveys on actual electricity demand as well as the current status of the power grid in the localities. From there, the unit promptly proposes technical solutions, arranges capital to upgrade, repair and invest in new power systems.

Currently, the rate of households in the whole province using the national grid has reached 99.6%; of which, 724/724 villages and hamlets have electricity, reaching 100% according to the electricity criteria in building new rural areas.

Electrical system inspection for households

In Dak Buk So commune (Tuy Duc), a locality that has just been recognized for completing the new rural construction program, PC Dak Nong has coordinated to survey and complete the electricity system in the area.

The scale of this program includes: 29km of medium voltage lines; 37 transformer stations, total capacity up to 5,115kVA, serving over 98% of households using electricity regularly and safely.

Nam Binh Commune (Dak Song), according to the roadmap to reach the advanced NTM commune finish line by 2025, also receives special attention from PC Dak Nong.

In 2024, the company invested in building 3 transformer stations with a total capacity of 420kVA; along with 1.3km of low-voltage lines to serve the needs of production and daily life development, creating conditions for people to increase income and improve their lives.

PC Dak Nong surveyed the current status of the power grid to replace the meter.

Notably, in June 2025, PC Dak Nong coordinated with the People's Committee of Duc Minh commune and Duc Minh Electricity Service Cooperative (Dak Mil) to sign a record of receiving the rural low-voltage power grid, with a total length of 53.443km.

Immediately after taking over, the company planned to renovate and synchronize the power grid to ensure stable and safe power supply, meeting the long-term needs of the people.

Sharing about the implementation process, Mr. Bui Van Lien - Director of Dak Mil Electricity said: "To ensure a stable power source, in recent times we have continuously upgraded the power grid, implemented anti-overload projects, and at the same time promoted inspection, maintenance and timely troubleshooting."

PC Dak Nong propagates people to strictly follow the principles of safe electricity use

Implementing criterion number 4 on electricity, PC Dak Nong regularly coordinates with the Department of Industry and Trade and localities to update the annual target plan of the new rural construction program.

All contents related to power grid development are integrated into the investment plan, with priority orientation on renovating and upgrading the power system in rural areas, gradually improving the quality of electricity.

Through the mobilization and effective use of investment resources, PC Dak Nong not only fulfills its professional tasks well but also clearly demonstrates its accompanying role in rural development.

The unit's efforts have been making important contributions to improving rural infrastructure, promoting socio -economic development and improving the quality of life of people in the province.
