Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tinh re-elected President of Vietnam Friendship Association

The Congress elected 16 delegates to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Ha Tinh province for the 2023 - 2028 term and at the first meeting, the Executive Committee elected Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tinh as Chairman of the Association.

On the morning of December 22, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Ha Tinh province held the 5th Congress, term 2023 - 2028.

Over 20 years of operation, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Ha Tinh province has received attention and direction from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations; support and coordination from agencies, departments and branches and the participation of over 1,000 members.

The Association has advised the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to issue 17 documents directing people-to-people diplomacy activities between Ha Tinh and the Russian Federation, the most prominent of which is the development of the "Nguyen Du - Pushkin Festival" Project; coordinated information connection with Russian partners to sign 6 memorandums of understanding on the fields of economics , trade, science and technology, education and training of human resources; coordinated the organization of many other important cultural and social activities...

The Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association, term V, 2023 - 2028, sets the following goals: Focus on implementing Directive No. 25/CT-TTg dated September 10, 2021 of the Prime Minister on "Promoting the development and implementation of the diplomatic cultural strategy"; continue to promote people-to-people diplomacy activities between Vietnam and the Russian Federation to create specific results, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
