On the morning of August 8, at the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute, a heartwarming image was once again mentioned with respect by the theater community: People's Artist Kim Cuong - known as the "Wonder Woman" of Vietnamese theater - personally organized and took the group of artists to the third general medical examination for members and theater workers.
Kim Cuong "The Strange Woman" in Everyday Life
This is not only a simple health care activity, but also a gesture full of humanity, continuing the tradition of "artists for artists" that she has persistently carried out over many years.

The list of participants in this examination round gathers many familiar faces of the city's stage: Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong, People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, director Ton Tat Can, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Master's Director Thanh Hiep, Director Viet Phong, author Nguyen Trung, artist Trang Bich Lieu, artist Hoa Lan, and artists associated with Minh To ancient opera such as: Huu Phuong, Thuy Huong, Tuan Phuong...
There are also veteran artists who were once associated with Da Ly Huong stage, Ho Chi Minh City Performing Arts Group, and those who worked silently behind the scenes.

The admirable thing is that, despite her advanced age, People's Artist Kim Cuong still persistently devotes time, effort and passion to taking care of her colleagues. For her, health is a precious asset for everyone, and regular health care not only helps artists prevent illness, but also creates a feeling of being respected and cared for in a life full of changes.
Kim Cuong "gives away": great influence in the hearts of artists
The artists who participated in the medical examination were moved to share their feelings about this general medical examination. Meritorious Artist Ca Le Hong expressed: "We are old, our health is sometimes unstable. Receiving such attention, organized by People's Artist Kim Cuong herself, really warms our hearts. She still remembers each person, calls to ask about them, and makes thoughtful arrangements. Not everyone can do this kind gesture."
People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association said: "We artists are sometimes so absorbed in our work that we forget to take care of ourselves. Having a general check-up like this not only gives us peace of mind, but also makes us feel respected and considered a part of the big theater family.
The Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute, and Dr. Bui Minh Trang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute himself, for receiving the delegation and visiting the artists. This is the third time that People's Artist Kim Cuong has brought the delegation to the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute for the artists to receive a general examination. This is a very beautiful gesture towards taking care of the health of stage artists."

People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi shared: "I admire Ms. Kim Cuong for her spirit and heart. Despite her old age, she is still dedicated to taking care of her colleagues, not only materially but also spiritually. She is an example for the younger generation to follow."
Artist Trang Bich Lieu was moved: "We call this a 'health party' for the theater community. Not only do we get to see a doctor, but we also get to meet old friends and colleagues and reminisce together. Thank you, Kim Cuong, for connecting everyone with love."
Kim Cuong devoted to the artist
The image of the "Diva" kindly calling each person, taking care of each piece of paper, asking after the examination... is a living proof of a heart that has never cooled down. After the artist had a blood test, heart measurement, abdominal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound...
She kindly brought breakfast and even gave a "lucky money" for the transportation to the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute, even though some artists were arranged by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association to take them to the Institute by car. This act of kindness continues her series of charitable activities over the years: from giving scholarships, supporting hospital fees, organizing funerals for poor artists, to raising a charity fund called "Artists - Love".
Doctor Bui Minh Trang - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute - was delighted to meet artist Trang Bich Lieu, wife of the late artist Thanh Tu - who played the role of Nhuan Dien in the work "Ben Cau Det Lua"
In today’s artistic life, when the stage lights are sometimes not as bright as before, actions like that of People’s Artist Kim Cuong are even more valuable. Because it is not only a voluntary act, but also a way to preserve the camaraderie, keeping the flame of love in the theater world from going out.

On this occasion, the City Theater Association would like to express our deep gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute and the team of doctors and medical staff who have wholeheartedly supported and created conditions for the artists to receive general examinations in a professional, attentive and responsible environment.
This valuable help has contributed to bringing peace of mind and confidence to artists in health care.
