On August 8, the Northern region (except Dien Bien , Lai Chau) and Thanh Hoa will have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, some places over 36 degrees Celsius, the lowest relative humidity commonly 60-65%, hot weather lasting from 12-16 hours.
The heat wave in the North is likely to last until around August 10-11; the heat wave in the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang, the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa is likely to last until around August 12.

Relative humidity at 1pm is commonly from 50-60%.
