Young people and the trend of watching movies in theaters

In the past 5 years, instead of watching movies online, young people tend to go to the cinema to enjoy their favorite movies. On major national holidays, young people go to the cinema more.

Beta Cinema is one of the addresses chosen by young people.

In Thai Nguyen, there are many movie screening locations considered “hot”, such as: Beta at 259 Quang Trung Street; CGV Vincom Thai Nguyen, 284 Luong Ngoc Quyen Street; Pixel Thai Nguyen, 1st floor of Teccco Elite City apartment complex, formerly in Thinh Dan ward, now Quyet Thang.

Among these, Beta Thai Nguyen is the first cinema in Thai Nguyen with a history of up to ten years. Possessing a Hollywood-standard cinema system, the cinema has 5 screening rooms with 862 seats, serving a variety of film genres with many attractive ticket incentive programs for students and families, so it always attracts customers.

Built with Hollywood cinema standards, Dolby 7.1 sound standards, sharp large screens, CGV Vincom Thai Nguyen opened in 2018 and is the second cinema in Thai Nguyen after Beta. Modern facilities, bringing new cinematic experiences but very competitive ticket prices.

On Google, I searched for the address of CGV Vincom Thai Nguyen. After a click, a number of movies being shown here appeared with very suitable time slots, especially the morning, afternoon and evening slots of holidays (Saturday and Sunday). Among them is the movie Red Rain, which is "making waves and winds" among Thai Nguyen youth in particular, movie lovers in general and has a large number of people buying movie tickets.

In fact, watching movies at the cinema is one of the effective "medicines" that helps young people relieve stress and fatigue from work and study. To meet the needs of the audience, cinemas in Thai Nguyen have caught up with the trend, updating many movies that young people love. The price of watching movies at the cinema is also very competitive (from 70 to 100,000 VND/ticket).

When asked why she didn't watch it online but instead went to the cinema, sitting for more than an hour, even nearly two hours to watch the movie, Ha Anh Thu, 18 years old, group 90, Phan Dinh Phung ward, shared: The large screen, sharp images, clear sound are what make me really like watching movies at the cinema. Through the large screen, the scenery in the movie and the characters in the movie also appear more clearly. The service quality of the cinemas is also very good.

Similarly, Duong Trung Hieu, 17 years old, currently a 12th grader, residing in Group 30, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, also loves watching movies at the cinema on his days off, saying: Every time there is a new movie, I buy a ticket to go see it. Seeing that the movie Red Rain is so "hot", I took the time to go to the cinema to watch it. Only through the big screen can I fully appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the movie. Through the vivid recreation of Quang Tri ancient citadel , I feel proud of the heroic tradition of the previous generation, of the resilient young people in the rain of bombs and bullets, dedicating their youth to the independence and freedom of the country. If you watch this movie on your family's TV screen or phone, it will not be as interesting as going to the cinema.

Like young people across the country, young audiences in Thai Nguyen are quick to update new trends. In the 4.0 era, young people have many entertainment options as the Internet platform is growing stronger and stronger.

However, with a "heavy" investment in facilities to meet the requirements of images, sound, lighting, and seating, reasonable ticket prices and the screening of films with attractive and interesting content are what attract Gen Z Thai Nguyen to watch movies in theaters.
