Man in critical condition after tree branch falls on his head in Ho Chi Minh City

At around 9pm on January 18, a man was selling handbags in front of house number 115A Nguyen Trai, Ward 2, District 5 (HCMC) when suddenly a green tree branch fell and hit his head. The branch was about 0.2m in diameter.

The victim suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment.

District 5 authorities have come to examine the scene of the incident.

The victim's name is D. (31 years old, from Tien Giang ). "D. is being actively resuscitated at the hospital, doctors continue to monitor him," said a relative of the victim.

Nguyen Trai Street is known for selling a lot of fashionable clothes. Every night, this area has many people spilling out onto the sidewalk to sell their goods.
