The event took place in a lively atmosphere, with the participation of over 10,000 students, young workers, businesses and representatives of many departments and branches of Dong Nai province. The job fair was designed as a direct bridge between employers and candidates. At 8 large booths, candidates learned about hundreds of job positions.

According to Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, when Long Thanh airport comes into operation in 2026, Dong Nai will become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign enterprises. This is a key national infrastructure project, playing a role in connecting strategic traffic and forming a service and high-tech center of the Southeast region.
Mr. Son said that the aviation labor market has specific and strict standards regarding health, qualifications, foreign languages and techniques. Therefore, Dong Nai province has assigned the Department of Education and Training to implement a project to train local human resources for the period 2024 - 2026, with a vision to 2030, to ensure a sufficient supply of labor in both quantity and quality.
In particular, the Provincial People's Committee proposed to prioritize the recruitment of workers in communes that have given up land for airport construction, so that people can have sustainable livelihoods and accompany the development of Long Thanh to create sustainable livelihoods for local people. However, candidates must still fully meet the standards of the aviation industry, including: discipline, sense of responsibility, good health, ability to withstand high pressure and solid professional skills.

According to ACV, Long Thanh airport is planned to meet ICAO level 4F standards, capable of serving 100 million passengers/year and 5 million tons of cargo/year when fully completed. In phase 1 alone, the project will build 2 runways, 1 passenger terminal with a capacity of 25 million passengers/year and 1 cargo terminal with a capacity of 550,000 tons/year. Basic infrastructure is expected to be completed by the end of this year. On December 19, 2025, there will be the first technical flight, preparing to put the port into commercial operation in the first half of 2026.
