BHG - Determining digital transformation (DTS) as an inevitable trend to better serve the poor and policy beneficiaries. Recently, the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies (CSXH) Xin Man has deployed many applications and software for policy credit management. Creating the best conditions for people to access banking services quickly, conveniently, with flexible payment, information security, cost savings, and reduced transaction time.
With the role and responsibility of the Head of the Savings and Loan Group in Tan Son village, Nam Dan commune, Mr. Hoang Minh Ket has been instructed and deployed to install and use the policy credit management application App since the day he was instructed by the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank in Xin Man. In the past 3 years, through this software, he has promptly grasped the data of borrowers with overdue debts and interest payment status right on his smartphone. At the same time, the application has also combined many services such as payment, e-wallet transfer, electricity and water payment, tuition payment... Thereby, helping the Group Leaders promptly coordinate with the staff of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank in handling recovery and improving the quality of Savings and Loan Group activities.

Mr. Hoang Minh Ket shared: “In the past, we often worked with a lot of documents, had to store, summarize and access policies in paper documents. But now, with just a smartphone with an installed application, we can update a lot of related content. From there, we can manage members, outstanding debt, interest payable, savings balance of members as well as provide information to members anywhere, anytime”.
To effectively implement the digital transformation of the system, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank in Xin Man always receives, updates and effectively uses new software transferred by superiors.
Focus on technological innovation, diversifying modern and safe banking products and services; at the same time, training in policy credit operations for credit officers, entrusted socio- political organizations, heads of savings and loan groups... to help improve the quality of policy credit, promote the efficiency of capital use, and gradually help people get acquainted with digital transformation.
Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Xin Man District, Hoang Cong Hoan, said: “In order to improve the quality of customer service and the quality of credit activities. In the past time, the Office has focused on applying scientific and technological advances, applying software suitable for the specific management requirements of social policy credit; deploying text message services to compare loan balance information, deposit balance to 100% of customers. Assigning departments to receive customer feedback and most importantly, helping social policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households access digital technology”.
From the practical results, in the coming time, the Xin Man Social Policy Bank Transaction Office will continue to promote digital transformation applications, creating convenience and utility for the poor and beneficiaries; proactively grasp and improve service quality, making social policy credit activities in the area increasingly effective.
