Russia: France prepares to send troops to Ukraine

According to Maria Zakharova, there is confirmed information that France is preparing to send troops to Ukraine. Russia has been publishing these reports since April 3. Although Paris is trying to hide the involvement of its professional army in the conflict, Kiev is deliberately promoting these developments to once again call for widespread international support and promote a failed mobilization campaign.

Ms. Zakharova pointed to documents signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, in which Kiev granted French trainers the legal right to visit Ukrainian military training centers.

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman also stressed that Poland and the Baltic countries have also made statements about the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron has not ruled out the possibility of NATO sending troops to Ukraine. Meanwhile, the French Defense Ministry said the possibility had been raised several times and training on Ukrainian soil was one of the projects discussed since the Ukraine support conference chaired by Emmanuel Macron on February 26.
