Microsoft launches Android-specific Copilot app with similar features to Windows

The new Copilot app for Android looks like Bing Chat at first glance, giving you access to the same chat features as on Windows. You can also use Copilot in the Microsoft Edge browser for Android, SwiftKey, Skype, and more.

Copilot for Android supports many of the features that are already available on the desktop. Users can ask complex questions, create images with DALL-E 3, compose documents or emails, or just have a casual conversation about anything. The app also lets you turn GPT-4 on or off.

Microsoft describes the new app as improving user productivity with Copilot - an AI-powered chat assistant.

Copilot is Microsoft's pioneering conversational assistant powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These cutting-edge AI technologies provide fast, complex, and accurate responses, as well as the ability to generate breathtaking images from simple text descriptions.

The Microsoft Copilot app is currently only available on Android, but iOS users can still enjoy similar features through the Bing app.
