Leaders of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions congratulate the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Gia Lai province

(GLO)- On the morning of September 5, a working delegation led by Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Phan Do Minh Thanh Anh visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the province on the occasion of the Vu Lan Festival, Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025.

Receiving the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Dong Thanh - Member of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee; Most Venerable Thich Nhuan Tri - Deputy Head of the Committee, Chief Secretary of the Executive Committee and other Venerables in the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Phan Do Minh Thanh Anh sent congratulations to the religious dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the whole province; acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Gia Lai Buddhism in charity and social security activities. He hoped that the Executive Committee would continue to promote its role in encouraging monks, nuns, and Buddhists to live a "good life - good religion", contributing to the development of the province.

On behalf of the Executive Committee, Most Venerable Thich Dong Thanh expressed his gratitude for the attention of the provincial leaders and affirmed that Gia Lai Buddhism will continue to accompany the Party, government and people, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.
