In the first 6 months of the year, the economic situation and cooperatives were basically stable. Some agricultural cooperatives have proactively organized annual congresses, developed charters to change production and business methods according to the 2023 Cooperative Law, sought to expand markets, improve product quality, strengthen links and production cooperation. People's Credit Funds are increasingly consolidated, meeting the needs of members, with the right and appropriate direction of operation, so most People's Credit Funds are profitable; the lending structure of the QTDs focuses on serving agricultural production, rural development and business and service sectors. Thereby improving income and life for members and people.

Up to now, 4/10 cooperatives have been established, reaching 40% of the plan, bringing the total number of cooperatives in the province to 236 cooperatives and 2 Cooperative Unions. Of which, 206 cooperatives are operating, 30 cooperatives have stopped or temporarily stopped operating, with a total operating capital of more than 4,100 billion VND. Revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 145.2 billion VND; profit of 20.5 billion VND, up 0.4% over the same period. In addition, the Provincial Cooperative Union has organized 5/5 professional skills training courses for managers, members, and employees working at cooperatives. Organized 3/5 sessions for 11 cooperatives to participate in the 2025 trade promotion fair; 2/4 thematic conferences on solutions for developing the collective economy...

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving comments on the draft report on the development of collective economy, cooperatives and activities of the Provincial Cooperative Union in the first 6 months of 2025; report on the activities of the Provincial Cooperative Union Inspection Committee; report on emulation and reward work; report on revenue and expenditure of membership fees; plans and key tasks for 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Chairwoman of the Provincial Cooperative Union said that in the last 6 months of the year, although the province has merged into the new Lam Dong province, the Provincial Cooperative Union has still proactively coordinated with the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and localities in propaganda work; coordinated with relevant departments and branches to continue to support and organize agricultural cooperatives to participate in trade promotion activities and expand markets. Encourage cooperatives to continue to innovate their activities in a multi-sector direction, apply digital technology , build brands, trace origins, build OCOP products, develop rural industries, etc.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union commended 26 members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Cooperative Union, term VI, for "Contributing to the cause of building and developing collective economy and cooperatives in the period 2020 - 2025".
