Prof. Dr. Do Phuc, University of Information Technology (VNU-HCM), presented a paper at the conference.

Professor Do Phuc, University of Information Technology (VNU-HCM), said that every year, the academic title evaluation process is organized and each candidate submits a detailed profile with many research and teaching achievements. Processing a large volume of applications in a limited time is a task that requires intelligence and takes a lot of time.

In his paper "Research on AI-assisted NLP (natural language processing) applications and data visualization to support candidate application processing", Prof. Dr. Do Phuc presented the application of some AI-assisted NLP advances to support the application evaluation process. By automating the extraction of information from candidate registration forms and using AI natural language processing tools to analyze data. These tools include keyword extraction to identify research topics, foreign author name recognition, article content summarization, and article clustering by title to detect duplicate content.

In addition, Professor Do Phuc's presentation used visual tools to illustrate the analysis results from multiple candidate profiles, highlighting the achievements of each candidate.

The workshop "AI systems applied in education and healthcare" gathered 27 presentations, of which 9 were presented directly by leading experts in the fields of technology, healthcare and education.

In the field of education, the conference focused on prominent issues such as using AI to personalize learning and improve teaching effectiveness; integrating AI technology into school management and student assessment; applying ChatGPT and AI tools in lesson planning and lecture design.

In the medical field, the presentations highlighted the role of AI in disease diagnosis, medical image analysis and personalization of treatment; AI applications to improve patient care and pharmaceutical development; AI ethics in medicine: risk management and privacy protection.

A representative of Saigon International University said that the conference was organized to create a forum for domestic and international scientists to exchange academic knowledge, share knowledge, discuss practical challenges facing education and healthcare, and exploit the potential of AI to create breakthrough solutions. The conference is expected to enhance the scientific research capacity of lecturers, students, and graduate students and encourage creative thinking in scientific research to create works of international value.
