Survey of locations expected to host the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress

On the afternoon of August 5, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Organizing Subcommittee serving the Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, chaired and co-chaired with members of the Subcommittee to survey the locations where the Congress is expected to be held.

The delegation surveyed the location of the Provincial Labor Cultural House, one of the expected locations for the Lam Dong Provincial Congress.

The survey delegation included leaders and representatives of departments, branches and localities, including: Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Finance, Science and Technology, Construction, Provincial Investment Promotion Center, Trade and Tourism, Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio, Television and representatives of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan discussed contents with management staff of the Provincial Labor Culture House this afternoon.

At the Provincial Labor Culture House (No. 01, Tran Quoc Toan Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) and Da Lat Star Cinema - Sports and Entertainment (Lam Vien Square area), representatives of the two units informed the survey team of the Provincial People's Committee about the status of equipment, facilities, space, related conditions...

Basically, the survey team assessed that the two locations above met a number of criteria for the conference hall space to organize the main event of the Congress such as accommodating over 500 seats, meeting rooms to organize the display of local OCOP products, sound and lighting equipment, etc.

The delegation surveyed the location of Dalat Star Cinema - Sports and Entertainment, one of the planned locations to hold the Lam Dong Provincial Congress.

After surveying the main hall, functional meeting rooms, and the space surrounding the main hall of the two locations, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Congress Organizing Subcommittee, requested the departments and branches that are members of the Subcommittee according to their functions and tasks to develop specific plans for each content.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the representatives of departments, branches and sectors to urgently coordinate in implementing the report on the plan to present the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed locations for the Congress. In particular, special attention should be paid to the requirements for meeting the space requirements to ensure the number of delegates and guests attending the Congress, and whether the auxiliary meeting rooms of the two locations can meet the number of delegates attending the group discussion.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan listened to representatives of departments, branches and sectors report on the preliminary contents of selecting the location to hold the Congress.

In case of proposing a proposed location, the cost of renting, repairing, and decorating must be estimated. Priority must be given to items serving the Congress, and plans must be specific, clear, and ensure the best service for the Congress.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan also set a time frame for leaders of departments, branches and sectors who are members of the Congress Service Subcommittee to complete reports and present plans by the afternoon of August 7 to promptly report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for consideration and decision.
