Inauguration of the project 'Border Light' in Khanh Hung commune

On September 13, the Youth Union of the Office of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province coordinated with the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, Khanh Hung commune and sponsoring units to inaugurate the project "Border Light", giving gifts to households in difficult circumstances and students in Khanh Hung commune.

Inauguration of the project "Border Light"

The “Border Light” project is 1km long, consisting of 20 solar-powered lamp posts installed on the border patrol route, in Go Xoai hamlet, Khanh Hung commune. The project cost 55 million VND.

This is an important project for the locality in maintaining security, order and social safety, especially in preventing and combating smuggling across the border. At the same time, it demonstrates the spirit of vanguard and responsibility of young people joining hands to build new rural areas.

Giving gifts to households in difficult circumstances

Give study corner to students

In addition, the units organizing the program "Accompanying friends in border areas" presented 5 gifts to policy families, 10 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, 10 study corners and 20 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; the total value of gifts was over 50 million VND.

The activity aims to encourage poor households and those in difficult circumstances to actively work, produce, and improve their lives; to encourage their spirit and help students have more determination to study well./.
