Previously, to send reports, recommendations, or reflections related to security and order or to report crimes, people had to go directly to the police, make phone calls, or file a report. However, with the development of 4.0 technology, all procedures have become more convenient. With just a few steps on the VNeID application, people can create a petition, reflect on the security and order situation or send reports and denunciations of crimes to the police. Thanks to that, the authorities promptly receive, verify, and quickly and effectively handle cases with signs of law violations, while comprehensively assessing the security and order situation in the area.
For people's convenience, the Provincial Police provide 5 steps to report crimes via VNeID as follows:
Step 1: Log in to your VNeID account on your mobile phone.
Step 2: At the main interface, select “Other Services”.
Step 3: Select "Requests and feedback on public order and safety", then create a new request.
Step 4: Fill in all required information. Citizens can choose “Anonymous” if they want to keep the information confidential; in case they have reported directly to the police agency, check “Sent application to the police agency”.
Step 5: Confirm and send the request. People can track the processing status in the "Requests and feedback on public order and safety" section.
Each citizen must be responsible before the law for the content of his/her denunciation. Acts of providing false information will be handled according to the provisions of the law.
VNeID application, also known as electronic identification account, integrates many important information and documents such as citizen identification card (CCCD), driver's license (GPLX), vehicle registration, health insurance (BHYT), tax information, electronic household registration book... helping users save time, make it more convenient and easier to carry out administrative procedures. To use VNeID to replace previous identification documents, users just need to download the application on Google Play or App Store, then register an account using their personal identification number (CCCD number) along with their phone number. |
