The training course is designed for lifeguards and swimming instructors working at businesses, business establishments and sports facilities in the southern part of Khanh Hoa province (including the old Ninh Thuan area). In addition, individuals who wish to improve their knowledge and professional skills are also welcome.
Speaking at the training course, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, said that the training program was built based on the regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the plan of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, aiming to improve the professional qualifications of the diving rescue team in the area.
The curriculum is comprehensive, closely combining theory and practice, helping students equip themselves with in-depth rescue knowledge and skills. Students will be trained and tested on important skills such as: 100m freestyle swimming, 200m freestyle swimming within 7 minutes, pulling a swimmer 25m with precise techniques and mastering emergency first aid skills such as: first aid for people with water shock and artificial respiration.
The entire cost of organizing this training course is sponsored by Phat Hoang Long Company Limited. This event not only contributes to complying with Decree No. 36/2019/ND-CP of the Government but also aims to build a safer and more professional diving environment for both residents and tourists in Khanh Hoa.
This is the third time the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the Tourism Association to organize a professional diving and rescue training course, after successful organizations in 2019 and 2023.
