Ta Dung Lake has many "deserted islands"

From Gia Nghia center to Ta Dung about 50 km, the closer to the destination, the cooler the air because of the forests on both sides of the road. The scenery is peaceful, the car glides smoothly on the winding roads hugging the hillsides covered with green forest trees. On both sides of the road, wild flowers bloom, creating brilliant color patches, making everyone who sees them excited. Approaching the Dong Nai 3 Hydropower Reservoir, from above, looking at dozens of large and small islands undulating and immersing oneself in nature, one can see that some people compare this to "Ha Long of the Central Highlands" which is not too much. But it must be added that the "forest quality" is hard to find anywhere else.

The group of backpackers left the "deserted island" Ta Dung after a day of immersing themselves in nature.

Our group rented two boats and traveled for about 20 minutes to reach a “desert island” - one of dozens of islands on the hydroelectric reservoir. The boat glided in the middle of the lake, on both sides of the shore, fishing nets appeared and disappeared, making the green forest and blue water area more interesting. At the foot of the islands, the waves of the lake crashed, creating rustling sounds. Ashore, the group began to experience life on the “desert island”, with some cutting bamboo to set up camp to sleep; some collecting firewood to warm up and prepare food; some going fishing...

The "desert island" with its wild beauty and quiet space made everyone in the group feel excited, quickly setting up camps made of bamboo and leaves, nestled among the green trees. After setting up camp, the group let themselves go into the clear water, splashing around and watching the sunset gradually fall, there was no more enjoyable feeling. When the night fell, the rhythm of the lake's nightlife began, the lights turned on, the sound of oars hitting the water of the boats visiting the net echoed in the space of the deserted mountains and hills.

The most interesting thing here is in the morning, the sun is high but the mountain mist is still lingering over the forests. In the misty space, standing on the high place of the island, stretching out your hands, you feel like you can scoop up handfuls of mist. The dawn here makes the whole group silent before the peaceful space opening up before their eyes. Each ray of sunlight shines through the lazy clouds, making everything slowly pass by. The dawn on the "desert island" is so slow and peaceful, making anyone who comes once remember it forever. The beauty and wildness of the "desert island" brings everyone interesting feelings. That's all backpackers need, to be able to temporarily leave work, the noise of the city, and immerse themselves in nature.
