Opening of Nghe Tinh Soviet Exhibition House and meeting with relatives of Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers

On the afternoon of September 8, at the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum, the opening ceremony of the Soviet Nghe Tinh Exhibition House took place, opening the thematic exhibition "Aspiration for Freedom" and a discussion meeting with relatives of Soviet Nghe Tinh soldiers.

This is a special activity of profound significance on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the 1930-1931 revolutionary movement and the Nghe Tinh Soviet.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee. On Nghe An province side, there were comrades: Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, relatives of Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers and a large number of people.

The Nghe Tinh Soviet Exhibition House at the Nghe An Museum - Nghe Tinh Soviet was upgraded from December 2024 according to modern museology principles. After 8 months of construction, the project was completed with a new look, promising to become a typical cultural and historical destination of Nghe An, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions and attracting tourists on their journey to explore the heritage of the Central region.

Within the framework of the event, the theme "Aspiration for Freedom" was opened with nearly 100 valuable documents and images by the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board in collaboration with the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum.

The exhibition recreates the touching story of the communists' unyielding will in colonial prisons, with the sections: Chains - Wings in the Night - Timeless Imprints. This is a vivid testament to the indomitable spirit and desire for freedom of the heroic Soviet children.

On this occasion, the meeting with relatives of the Nghe Tinh Soviet soldiers took place in an emotional atmosphere. Descendants of soldiers such as Nguyen Truong Khoat, Vo Van Dong, Dau Du (Dau Gia), Ton Gia Tinh, Nguyen Thi Khuong, Nguyen The Lam, Tran Huu Quan, etc. shared their memories and touching stories about the steadfast spirit, close comradeship, and sacrifice for the ideal of independence and freedom of their ancestors.

The program is not only an opportunity to pay tribute and commemorate the contributions of revolutionary predecessors, but also contributes to spreading pride and responsibility in preserving and promoting the Nghe Tinh Soviet tradition in today's generations.
