The new Vinh Son commune was established on the basis of merging the old Vinh Son and Vinh Kim communes.
After 5 years (2020-2025), despite many difficulties, especially the unprecedented impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress of the two communes has achieved important and comprehensive results in all fields. The economy continues to grow, the structure has shifted positively, most of the basic targets have been achieved and exceeded the Resolution. Socio-economic infrastructure has been invested in and upgraded, the appearance of rural and mountainous areas is increasingly improving.
There have been many advances in culture and society, social security has been ensured, and people's lives have been increasingly improved. National defense and security have been maintained, and social order and safety have been stable. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has been focused on; the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations, the activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have had many positive changes. People's trust in the leadership of Party committees and governments has been consolidated, and the great national unity bloc has become increasingly stronger.
The Congress set out 9 key tasks for the 2025-2030 term: Focusing on developing high-tech agriculture and sustainable forestry; Develop tourism based on the advantages of mountain ecology, cool climate, cultural and historical heritage; promote community tourism. Mobilize and effectively use all resources, build and complete synchronous socio-economic infrastructure, especially transport and irrigation infrastructure to meet development requirements.
Focus on effectively implementing rural development plans; effectively organizing the implementation of national target programs for the 2025-2030 period. Promote the development of science and technology, digital transformation, green transformation, administrative reform, create strong changes in improving the investment and business environment, and enhancing local competitiveness.
Along with that, train and improve the quality of human resources according to the development orientation of the commune. Speed up the work of compensation and site clearance to implement projects in the commune to ensure the set progress; review the connection of the planning of the two old communes, adjust and supplement the planning of the new Vinh Son commune in the direction of civilized and modern countryside.
The commune aims to strive for an average annual growth rate of local product value of 9.3%; during the term, attract at least 4 new projects to the commune. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increase by an average of 10.8% annually. Reduce the rate of multidimensional poverty households by 1.79% annually. Forest coverage remains at 78.67%. The rate of rural population using clean water is 100%. The rate of solid waste collected in rural areas is 74%. Strive to have over 95% of grassroots Party committee members achieving intermediate or higher political theory qualifications by the end of 2030...
To achieve the above goal, Vinh Son Commune Party Committee identified 4 solutions and 3 important breakthroughs that need to be implemented in the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress also discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft documents submitted to the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
