VHO - Stage 1 of the Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament - SEA V.League 2025 just ended on the evening of August 3 in Ratchasima (Thailand) with the championship belonging to the host Thai women's team.

At SEA V.League 2025 taking place from August 1 to 3, the Vietnamese women's team, along with Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia, will compete in a round robin to calculate points and rankings.

Before the final match, the Vietnamese and Thai women's teams both had 2 wins against the Philippines and Indonesia respectively, reaching 6 points and sharing the top 2 positions.

The Vietnamese women's team played very hard but still lost 2-3 (25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 17-25, 11-25) to the Thai women's team, thereby finishing second in the first round of SEA V.League 2025.

In the two confrontations at SEA V.League 2024, the Vietnamese women's team lost to Thailand.

In the history of previous matches, the Vietnamese girls have never had the joy of winning against the Thais.

Meanwhile, with 3 wins, the Thai women's team successfully defended the championship.

In the remaining match of the final round, the Philippine girls defeated Indonesia with a score of 3-1 (25-20, 25-20, 16-25, 25-13) to rank third.

After stage 1, SEA V.League 2025 will continue with matches in stage 2 taking place from August 8 to 10 in Ninh Binh .

Vietnam – Indonesia: 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-22)

Thailand – Philippines: 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-20)

August 2:

Vietnam – Philippines: 3-1 (25-13, 25-21, 23-25, 25-9)

Thailand – Indonesia: 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 27-25, 25-12)

August 3:

Indonesia – Philippines (25-20, 25-20, 16-25, 25-13)

Vietnam – Thailand (25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 17-25, 11-25)
